About Us

We Are Credentialed Child Welfare & Attendance Counselors also known as Pupil Services and Attendance Counselors (PSA Counselors) in the second-largest district in the nation: Los Angeles Unified School District. Child Welfare and Attendance is a specialized student support service that covers compliance with compulsory education laws, student admission and enrollment procedures, student discipline procedures, transfers to alternative programs, and school climate and safety.

Our Philosophy

The California Constitution guarantees each student the right to free public education. Every child aged 6-18 yrs has a fundamental right and responsibility to attend school every day and on time. We believe that in order for students to benefit most from education, they must be present, on time, and ready to learn, each child is unique and worthy of an education.
