Emergency Funds

The Association of Pupil Services and Attendance Counselors APSAC is receiving donations for the 2022-2023 school year.  As Child Welfare and Attendance Professionals, our organization has proudly served the students, families, schools, and communities of the Los Angeles Unified School District since 1919.  Throughout history, we have been instrumental in advocating and supporting students who are experiencing challenges in the areas of attendance, engagement, or academic achievement. Any APSAC Full Professional Membership holder in good standing may apply for these scholarships.

APSAC provides both financial assistance during a crisis and/or recognition for students who meet grant or scholarship criteria. In addition, we sponsor grants that fund Incentives for innovative attendance programs to motivate students to attend school daily and on time. As a result, our members have the opportunity to nominate students who have overcome barriers to success as well as those who are making progress towards their goals.

For many of our students, PSA Counselors are the "one adult who made a difference."

Your donation will help students to overcome a financial crisis, and it will make a huge difference!  We will add all donations to APSAC's Emergency Funds. An APSAC Member in good standing may apply for a $65 dollar grant any time. The Board will review all applications at the monthly Board meeting and they will approve qualifying applications and notify applicants.

We are currently collecting donations for our homeless families, you may send your donation via VENMO to @APSACNow or 562-407-4736
